 CURRENT OPPORTUNITY:  CONSTRUCTION COORDINATOR


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Construction Coordinator supports project managers, field teams, and subcontractors by organizing project details, maintaining documentation, and ensuring communication flows smoothly throughout all phases of construction. This role helps keep projects on schedule, compliant, and within budget by coordinating daily activities and providing administrative and technical support.

Project Coordination
  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities.
  • Track project progress and update schedules, logs, and reports.
  • Coordinate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and close‑out packages.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical project files.
Communication & Vendor Management
  • Serve as a primary liaison between office staff, field teams, and subcontractors.
  • Distribute drawings, updates, scopes, and instructions to required parties.
  • Assist in obtaining quotes, reviewing bids, and preparing comparison sheets.
  • Follow up with vendors on material delivery dates and long‑lead items.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Review and process permits, inspection requests, and compliance documents.
  • Ensure subcontractors submit required paperwork (COIs, W‑9s, safety materials, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate logs for RFIs, ASIs, submittals, and daily reports.
  • Support preparation of project financial documentation, including billing support and budget tracking.
Field Support
  • Coordinate site access, deliveries, and mobilizations with field personnel.
  • Assist in preparing site visit agendas and collecting site photos and daily updates.
  • Help ensure safety protocols and jobsite requirements are communicated and reinforced.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2–4 years of experience in construction coordination or administrative support in a construction environment.
  • Strong knowledge of construction terminology, processes, and documentation.
  • Ability to read basic architectural drawings (preferred).
  • Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • High school diploma required; construction management or related degree preferred.
